The founder
A recipe worth crossing an ocean for
Sami grew up in Beirut, where shawarma wasn’t fast food. It was family, hospitality, and pride on a plate. When he brought those recipes to Detroit, he refused to water them down. Instead he added his own twist: a shawarma crisped to a shatter, a garlic toum people now drive across state lines for.
The vision was never one truck. It was to take an authentic Lebanese experience national, to put “Amo” (uncle) on the corner of every city, welcoming you like family. We’re just getting started.
